January has been a revolutionary month for the leading FX post-trade network, Traiana. In addition to their recent partnership with Aegisoft, an innovative trading solutions provider earlier this year, Traiana recently announced their joint venture with CLS.
Owned by ICAP plc, the largest interdealer broker worldwide, Traiana is currently connected to over 500 leading financial firms. Their vast FX network includes prime brokers, executing banks, retail platforms and execution venues. As the “industry-standard platform for electronically processing over-the-counter FX trades”, Traiana has already exemplified its strength in the arena of FX exchange trading.
Traiana and Aegisoft joined forces on January 21 to provide a complimentary web seminar about “Creating an integrated buy-side solution for trading and order processing”. The seminar addressed tips for streamlining the post-trade process resulting in the reduction of costs and decrease in operational risk. Following the seminar, Traiana and Aegisoft held a panel discussion about their recent partnership and pioneering direction.
The tens decade also brought a new beginning for Traiana and CLS Group. On January 26, the duo announced that the joint venture (CLSAS) would be set underway. Together CLS and Traiana will provide trade aggregation services by utilizing CLS regulatory framework and the market-standard Traiana Harmony technology.
February will not stop Traiana’s momentum. Throughout the month, they will dominate New York’s Trade Tech venues. From February 9-11, Traiana will exhibit in the Trade Tech Foreign Exchange 2010 and debate core issues in FX trading from both the buy-side and sell-side. Additionally, from February 22-24, the company will participate in the Trade Tech USA 2010, with a special presentation highlighting post-trade processing.
Beginning this year with a strong command of the industry, Traiana will likely continue their two year streak as the annual FX Week survey’s “Best Vendor in Post-Trade Services” in 2010.
